Maria Balthammar

I'm Maria, an illustrator and author based in Sweden. I create illustrations for children's books, editorial publications, and magazines. My work brings stories to life through warmth, imagination, and thoughtful storytelling.

My published titles include Lilly & Milo and Nilja, and I love working with characters that feel alive — curious, brave, a little shy — and building worlds that invite young readers to step inside and stay a while.

Beyond illustration, I offer creative workshops: storytelling sessions for children and tailored creative workshops for adults. I'm also available for freelance and TCG illustration projects.

For Swedish clients: Jag arbetar givetvis på svenska! Kontakta mig gärna.
